- The opponent picks out and spots the ball of the player.
- Partners are not allowed to advise each other in Doubles competitions.
- In Doubles competitions where two frames aggregate scores occur, once the black is potted at end of first frame or an in-off black occurs, that is the end of that frame.
- Whoever pots or goes in off the black in the first frame, breaks off the second frame.
- Once partners have established a sequence of play at commencement of the Match, they cannot be changed.
